It’s also very accessible and affordable. It’s also the perfect place for many Aussies to take a short local holiday break – to recharge the batteries for good health, and keep us functioning at our very best – at work, rest and play. We join local identity – weatherman and fisherman – Paul Burt, who gives us a real locals viewpoint on making the most of a holiday on the Gold Coast.   With theme parks, beaches and so much more  - the hardest part is choosing which one to check out first. Getaway’s Dermott Brereton also pops in with some of his favourite great Australian Holiday destinations.  All this, and more, this week on Destinations.
