ON BOARD ACTIVITIES

Day or night, there are no schedules or set routines and the time is yours to spend anyway you like. You can visit the on board shops with tax free prices, take a dip in the pool, go for a run along the jogging track, workout at the fitness centre, or even go to a dance class. Have a go at trivia, or even karaoke. At an extra cost, the Pacific Jewel offers the largest spa at sea in the southern hemisphere.

After sunset there are numerous bars and lounges on board, so you can meet up for a drink with friends before dinner. Then check out the amazing high-wire circus and trapeze arena on the top deck which is exclusive to the Pacific Jewel.

Take a moonlit stroll on the deck or dance the night away at one of the cocktail nights. The Pacific Jewel also offers live bands, specialty acts, laser show, and acrobatics.  

ACCOMMODATION

The P&O Pacific Jewel offers a range of accommodation styles, pick from an outside cabin with a window, a cabin with a balcony or a suite. Each room comes fully furnished with air conditioning, complementary toiletries, and at an additional charge, in room movies and dining at any time of the day. 

DESTINATIONS

The P&O Pacific Jewel explores Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Each cruise route is slightly different. Passengers passing New Zealand will see spectacular glaciers, experience the natural beauty of the Great Barrier Reef or see the daring land divers in Vanuatu.

DINING ON BOARD

• P&O has introduced Salt Grill by celebrity chef Luke Mangan. This unique boutique style restaurant will only cost you a fraction of the price that it would on land.  Try Luke Mangan’s signature dishes such as the Salt Grill crab omelette, enoki mushroom salad and miso broth.
• “Your choice dining”, an experience exclusive to P&O Cruising allows you to dine when you like, with whomever you like.
• P&O’s A La Carte dinner menu includes guests most loved dishes, alongside a whopping 4 course dinner, which changes daily!
• At lunchtime, the extensive buffet may tempt you, or the 50 different contemporary meal options may be too much for you to resist when you opt for a la carte in the main dining rooms.

CRUISING WITH KIDS

• The Pacific Jewel has four children centres on board entertaining kids from toddlers to teenagers.
• Activities include arts and crafts, talent shows, Playstation 3 competitions, movies, hip hop classes and dress up theme nights.
